Medical Freedom Protest Organizer Mark Bishofsky Announces Run for Minnesota State House

Mark Bishofsky, a former respiratory therapist as well as a medical freedom protest and rally organizer, announced his intention to run for the Minnesota State House of Representatives in District 39. Bishofsky hosted one of the largest medical freedom rallies in the state this fall at the Minnesota State Capitol.

District 39 is currently represented by two State Representatives Bob Dettmer (R-Forest Lake) and Michelle Christensen (D-Stillwater).

According to Bishofsky’s campaign website, he is promising “honesty and fairness” and “giving a voice to the people for common sense solutions.”

His website reads, “Mark is a respiratory therapist who was thrust into politics in the summer of 2021 when he was faced with unconscionable vaccine mandates at work. Mark quickly discovered that he was not alone in the fight for bodily autonomy and opposition to coercive vaccine mandates. After organizing many rallies and protests he felt he was being called to run for office in order to give the people of Minnesota a louder voice in their government.”

Bishofsky said he does not want to be a politician, but he wants to be “a voice for the people.” In a Facebook post announcing his run, Bishofsky wrote, “We need a great revival of faith, family and community.”

Bishofsky told The Minnesota Sun he felt he “was being called to run for office in order to give the people of Minnesota a louder voice in their government.”

He said, “I want to fight to preserve our freedoms and our ability to pursue happiness. I want to fight against the corruptive censorship and for freedom of speech.”

Bishofsky’s three main issues include promoting health and wellness, supporting the police and law and order, as well as freedom and bodily autonomy.
